We at FAFAK would like others to share their stories, both positive and negative, when it comes to people’s dealings in visitation rights,
equal rights or any other experiences. As the vice chairman of FAFAK and being foreign born I should of course take the first step to
write about one of my experiences to get this English thread going. Since my divorce in 1999 I have had numerous encounters with the „sifja- og skipti“ department (S&S). Most of it has been negative with
one exception of positiveness. I am waiting for „persónuvernd“ (The Data Protection Authority) to answer whether I am allowed to place the
names of the persons that have both taken part in the positiveness and negativeness. |

Unwanted post on the chat forum and police action. |

Just before the Christmas holiday a certain individual registered into our chat forum.
This person proceeded to add undesirable material of pornographic extent. This material was removed as soon as it was discovered. Apparently „attackers“ do not learn that it is possible to view and at times possible to track their IP numbers. Today this attack was taken to the investigatory police department of Akureyri and the situation is being handled by the proper authorities. At the same time we ask that you all please have an eye open and let us know if any of these unwanted perpetrators get through by sending email to
